All Manufactures, gas service providers recommend yearly equipment inspections.
We recommend that a copy of the manual that came with your heating system be kept nearby.
If you do not have one they can often be downloaded and printed out.
Having this information can be help determine if your particular equipment requires additional inspection and service and always makes life easier when servicing or addressing a problem.
If your system uses filters we recommend that you purchase them by the box and keep them near the equipment this way they are always accessible when needed.
If you know your filter size you can order a box from us we can bring it over when we perform the preseason service.
Our preseason service is based on manufactures requirements, utility, and energy star recommendations.
We include a few items which we feel help prevent break downs.
The following is a list of the services provided for your system type.
Preseason descriptions for Hot water boilers, Steam boilers, and Hot Air Furnaces.
Hot Water Boilers
Visually inspect: Boiler, Flue pipe, surrounding piping
Vacuum or blow out with compressed air:Burners, Inducer motor
Oil: Circulator motor, Inducer motor
Run through Cycle Check: Pilot Safety, Flame Sense, High limit, Relief Valve,Low water cut out, & burners
Steam Boilers
Visually inspect: Boiler, Flue pipe, and Surrounding piping.
Vacuum or blow out with compressed air: Burners,Siphon Tube, Probe type low water cut out
Run through Cycle Check: Pilot Safety,Flame Sense,Pop Safety Valve,Low water cut out & Burners
Furnace Heating only
Visually inspect: Flue pipe, Heat exchanger, Blower assembly, Filter
Vacuum or blow out with compressed air: Burners,Blower fan, Blower Motor
Oil: Blower motor and inducer motor
Run Unit through Cycle: Check:, Pilot Safety, Flame Sense, Air-Flow
Visually inspect : Humidier
Media replacement differs so it is not included in the base price
Visually inspect while operating: Burners,Test heat exchanger. Watch burner as blower come on. Check High Limit.
