The following Items are checked and serviced for a typical split cooling system:
Indoor unit:
visually check filter we will replace 1" filters if they are on hand. We recomend homeowners to have a few extras so that they can be replaced as needed. We can even show you how to do this if you like.( Dirty filters can cause some serious operating problems even bring your system to a halt)
Visually inspect blower motor and blower wheel.
Visually inspect evaporator coil.
Clean out condensate lines. (Clogged condenstate lines can cause a unit mounted in the attic to leak through the ceiling)
Outdoor Unit:
Visually inspect condenser coil, condenser fan and motor.
Check electrical connections and capacitors.
Run system through cycle to check refrigerant level and air flow.
